Letters from Ukraine to the Free World
This project, now published as a book, brings together portraits and letters from Ukrainian women aged 10 to 72. Written to those who live in peace, these letters convey what it means to live through war — revealing pain, resilience, fear, and hope. Together with intimate photographs, these voices reveal the faces behind the words — a powerful testament to strength and humanity in the face of war.
The book was first published in Germany in 2023 by Suhrkamp Verlag
